We drove from Bend to Portland…. stopped at a few spots along the way to take photos. We just shot on the floor of the Portland Trailblazers - Boston Celtics Game. Craig Strong of Lensbabies gave us a Lensbabies 3G to shoot some cool action shots with. Lensbabies is a selective focus lens that really gives you a cool look and feel…. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you get some amazing results. Robert started shooting the game with the 17-35mm, but once he picked up the Lensbabies, he couldn’t put it down….
We’ll be posting this entire clip, plus an interview with Craig in the near future….

Hi All… here’s a few exciting things from our shoot with Kevin Kubota…
Kevin Created a custom B&W Preset template for Lightroom… just for our PhotographyMentor.com students!!!!
It’s called “B&W warm and tasty like a hot mocha in the morning”
Also, Kevin gave us his Lightroom template he uses as a default when he imports wedding images…. This is the basis for him to start editing and tweaking images.
Plus, he gave us a current AND upcoming actions pack to give away as Photo prizes… We’re coming up with the assignment for this giveaway…
Kevin also previewed some of his Amazing new products that are set to be released at WPPI!!!
If you have Photoshop (and who doesn’t), you’re definitely going to want Kevin’s new Actions and other products…
Kevin is a great guy, and we’ve been blown away by his hospitality….. He and his wife Claire took us to dinner every night…. Thanks to both of them for allowing us to “kidnap” Kevin for two days as we were filming….
Look for Kevin’s Lessons and “Quick Tips” in the next few weeks on PhotographyMentor.com, along with the 7 special video segments where Kevin put his “Touch” on our student’s images, and took them from RAW to finals!!!!
We’re completely exhausted from this trip, but very excited to share the clips with all of you….
Best,
Curt

Of coarse, the first thing we did was walk about 20 feet out the back door to the river, and take a few shots….
